Paris Metro Transport Manager
RATP

Edgar Sée graduated as an engineer from Ecole des Mines - ParisTech, France. He joined RATP in 2003 and occupied several positions in Paris Metro operation.

In particular:

- During Line 3 CBTC and OCC upgrade, he was transport manager.

- During Line 1 automation project, he was transport manager on Line 1 – deputy for the line Director, dealing with technical and social matters as well, especially with drivers and traffic controllers.

- In June 2011, he became Director of the already fully automated line 14, in charge of operation and maintenance, and working together with the project team dedicated to the extension.

In September 2013 he was appointed as Project Director for Metro line 4 automation. During this project, he upgraded line 4 infrastructures, installed modular standalone semi-full height platform-screen doors in operation, renewed the signalling system, commissioned the new OCC ready for automation, and prepared line 4 extension to the South.

Since September 2020, he got back to operation as Transport Manager for the whole Paris metro network.

These complementary professional experiences have enabled Edgar Sée to acquire operational, technical and managerial skills as an expert in metro operation, modernization and automation.
